Coralyn undertook herpost graduate clinical training at the Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital SleepClinic, Grayland’s Hospital and the Alma Street Centre, Fremantle Hospital where she continues to work part time. Prior to working as a Clinical Psychologist Coralyn spent over twenty years raising her four children primarily as a single mother while actively engaging in volunteer programs including the Women’s Information Service with the Office for Women’s Policy, as a board member for a Women’s refuge, fundraising for community projects for women and children as well as actively engaging in supportive learning programs for children with learning difficulties.

Coralyn has completed further training specialising inthe clinical assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions using a variety of therapeutic modalities including Interpersonal Neuro psychotherapy, Attachment based therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy. Coralyn draws on these therapeutic approaches to suit the individual needs of her clients. Her areas of interest include attachment difficulties, anxiety, mood disorders, identity and emotion regulation problems, grief, trauma, antenatal and postnatal mental health for mothers and adjustment to various stages oflife with a particular interest in women’s mental health and wellbeing.
